Annakah got Bucked off Jazzie

Annakah had been caring for a horse on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons since her owner was taking Rugby at the high school those evenings. Annakah was brushing, cleaning hooves, feeding, saddling and riding Jazzie and hadn’t had any trouble for a few weeks.

But this evening, something spooked Jazzie and she must have bucked and Annakah landed hard on the ground.

She ended up surviving it ok, her wrist got sprained and she had a fat lip and sore neck for a couple days. But the clinic checked her over and gave her a wrist splint for a week or so and a cervical collar for a couple days. Nothing broken thank goodness. For all of you who know Annakah, you can guess that she isn’t one bit deterred and can’t wait to get back on horses. Mom and Dad have set some tighter limits though and she’ll only be riding on Saturday’s as part of the horse management classes until we complete the course.
