PRAYER

PRAYER

Please be praying for the body of Christ in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea!  Since we have left in June we have heard countless stories of  trial after trial going on.  Many of which has affected people personally and as a whole community.  The latest occurrence happened a couple days ago as a pilot in training was in a very serious motorcycle accident on his way back to the center from the hanger.  He has since been medivaced to Australia for further medical treatment. To follow their story please click here

This is a serious injury and this is a young family as they have 3 young boys.  Please pray for Jon and Andi Leedahl as they are walking through this huge storm in their lives.  Pray for wisdom with the doctors and for peace for all the family.

We live in a fallen world and even though PNG feels like a world away it is part of the fallen world.  Though at times it feels more fallen than in a 1st world country.  Pray also for the community as a whole that they would keep fighting the good fight and know they are not fighting against  flesh and blood but of the unseen powers of this world.  Satan is alive and well and is ticked off because some amazing things have been happening in the country of Papua New Guinea with Ukarumpa being the base for so many of those wonderful things.  Pray for strength physical, emotional and spiritual.  Pray for endurance with all these many trials that have affected so many people there.  Pray against discouragement, as Satan would love for all the missionaries just to say this is too hard and pack up and go home.  God is bigger than that and He is holding every one of us in the palm of his hand.

Not sure if this is an actual true statement but it is an actual observation.  Those of us that are on furlough have our own struggles, and some even health challenges that have come out of "left field" (no that isn't us, that we know of, yet!).  Again, Satan would love for all of us to say, "It's hard enough just doing life in the US, how in the world are we suppose to deal with all the stuff of life while in a stressful environment in a 3rd world country?! Maybe we should take an undeterminded leave of absence from the mission field."  We need to remember in all things that  we should not have a spirit of fear but instead, a spirit of, "We have the Lord Jesus Christ on our side, who can be against us?"  Yes, some do need to leave the mission field for a variety of reasons but that is a decision for them and God the Father.  God is with us through the hard stuff and even the REALLY hard stuff no matter where we are. All I am saying is please be in prayer for those brothers and sisters in Christ that are experiencing some really hard stuff.

Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
