Home Church Send Off

Our home church, New Horizons, held a potluck send-off for our family last Sunday after service. We feel honored and blessed to have had such an expression of love from such dear friends.
Our pastor, Randy used our family in part of an illustration and we got a kick out of his drawing of our family.

Notice the two tall people separated by a shorter person? The order of the stick people from right to left are Chad, Ruth (shorter :), Meliah (still not taller than dad in real life), Annakah and Kiernan.

Me chatting with Vern with Kiery on my back. Meliah picking something out of her teeth and Jakie with her broken arm. (Poor Jackie :)

Ruth motioning to the right (her left). Sabrina in the red shorts.
This picture actually has our whole family in it. Kiery is standing behind Ruth. I'm chatting with Pat. Annakah to Chad's left and Meliah to the left of Pat.

Something we feel is a very important part of our journey to volunteer as support workers with Wycliffe in PNG is that we are share our experience with people in our circle of influence back at home. It's NOT about keeping it a private experience for the Michael family. We are committed to staying connected with all our friends and family in our church, school and community back home. So keep checking our blog for updates on our story.

Thanks again everyone from New Horizons! We love you all!

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.! (1 Cor. 1:3)
